Why not go to a rental agency?
FG Consultants works for the tenant (our client) whereas a rental agency’s responsibility is to the homeowner and in trying to achieve the highest price for them. Secondly a rental agent will often show only their own properties whereas at FG we source the most appropriate properties. Further we negotiate the best price possible for our clients.
Are you just a rental service then?
Not at all. Our job begins with finding a property for our client. During the search period and for the following 6 months we offer an ongoing support package.
What happens if we decide to stay in London?
FG Consultants has a property purchasing wing and again undertakes to source the most appropriate properties for each individual.

Each consultant is committed to working with only a limited number of clients at any one time, thereby offering a highly personal and exclusive service. Our clients are busy people and our aim is to minimise the amount of time they spend relocating and maximise the amount of time they have to enjoy London life.
What sort of support has been offered?
We aim to tailor make our package to each client.
2 Examples:
- A client moved into a garden flat and needed a cleaner, a decorator, a garden designer and someone to maintain the garden. We set up meetings with the decorator and garden designer that day and had a cleaner start the following week.
- Another client wanted to plan a romantic weekend to Venice. We immediately contacted our specialist Venetian agent and they created the client’s dream holiday.
Are we getting the best recommendations?
We believe so. We are constantly sourcing new affiliates and checking our existing contacts and resources. We will not always advise on the most expensive as we have often found small boutique companies give a better service.
How would FG work for international clients?
After the initial contact we will have established their individual needs and the extent of their knowledge of London. Depending on the client’s status (single, married, children) and where they are working, we would recommend several areas and show our clients these on an orientation day. We are careful to point out local amenities, transport and infrastructure.
Can FG help with our children’s schooling?
We are affiliated with the largest independent schools advisor in the UK who will be able to assist you in the smooth transition of your children’s education to London. For example remaining in the French or American system, or transferring to the English system.
